Stemmer Rodrigues has received the traditional SAERGS 2017 Architect and Urban Planner of the Year Award in the Private Sector category from the Union of Architects of Rio Grande do Sul. The only company from Rio Grande do Sul run exclusively by architects to aggregate the segments of incorporation and architecture office, the office completed 30 years of operation and more than 500 projects developed. For the Managing Partner, Paulo Henrique Rodrigues, the award "is an institutional recognition for the collaboration of the office in building an architecture that adds quality and art in the gaucho scenario".

The trophy was awarded during a ceremony to honour the professionals on 15 December, at the Luiz Carlos Prestes Memorial. The choice was made from nominations received from professionals in Rio Grande do Sul and used as criteria the merit and relevance of the professionals' work. The award's curator council evaluates the impact of the innovative actions, projects or works in the scientific, political, social or technological areas, always with social and human reach.
