In a home for life, the details need to be definitive. This is the premise of Amélie, a 1980s apartment in the bustling Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, which has given all its potential to a collection worthy of an art gallery.
The name is borrowed from Nelson Wilbert's canvas, a free reproduction in oil of the poster that made the movie "The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain" famous. From its nuances comes the palette of bold colors, with a strong personality that paints each of the spaces. The light coming through the openings allows for a composition of greens, earthy colors, concrete and black. In the main living area, the prominent wall becomes a tribute to the art collection.
Its intention is versatility, allowing practical rearrangement of the pieces to be acquired whenever a new passion arises. For works that tell stories, a truly living wall. Above it, a horizontal mirror creates the illusion of infinite height.
