The interior of this flat, located in the Bela Vista neighbourhood, in Porto Alegre, BR, was projected for a young couple and their daughter. One of the challenges was to harmonise the preferences of the owner, an architect, and his wife: he favours contemporary styles, and she prefers classic ones. The solution was to flirt with contrasting elements, such as inserting the orange- and aubergine-coloured drinks cabinet in the shade palette of sober tones, greys and blues. The walnut wood panel is in contrast with the back-lit wall, in a game of light and dark.
