In a home for life, details must be well thought. This is the premise of Amélie, a flat from the 1980s, in the busy Moinhos de Vento neighbourhood, BR, owing all its potential to a collection worthy of an art gallery. The name is borrowed from the canvas by Nelson Wilbert, a free oil reproduction of the poster that made famous the movie Amélie (2001). From the nuances in the canvas, come the inspiration for the strong colour palette that adds personality to each space. The natural light that floods in through each aperture, allows for a composition of greens, earthy colours, concrete and black. In the main living room, the feature wall converts into a tribute to the art collection. Its intention is versatility, allowing for a practical rearranging of the pieces each time a new passion in artwork is acquired and welcomed in. It is a truly lively wall for artwork that narrate stories. Just above it, a horizontal mirror creates the illusion of infinite height.
