PINK PEPPER HOUSE

Xangri-lá
Year: 2022
Area: 249m²

A compact, practical, cozy house, all ground floor, that prioritized the social area integrated with the kitchen and the gourmet area, was the desire of the residents of "Casa Pimenta Rosa", in Xangri-lá, Rio Grande do Sul. The project, in an area of 249m², is signed by Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura.

The project's highlight is the inclination angle of the house's roof, in exposed slab, which projects over the main façade, like a concrete ship, "about to sail", according to the owner. Besides the architectural techniques and the concern with aesthetics, the office also paid attention to economy and sustainability. Its architecture supports the aesthetic concept of the house, without the need for large investments in furniture. In addition, the project was developed aiming the maximum use of spaces, without idle or surplus areas.

The main idea was to offer the family a house that relates to the street, without much concern for privacy, since it is located in a cul-de-sac, where the sidewalk, the gardens, and the indoor area blend together.

The entire social area faces the front of the land, where we were able to take visual advantage of an additional space of the condominium that existed there. In this area, the existing jacarandas seemed to lean over the land as if they were "entering" the house.
