In this residence, in the Santa Catarina seaside, BR, both clients and architects agreed to build a timeless house. The project was planted on the plot of land at 45 degrees, facing north, to guarantee full sun to the private and social areas, as well as to the pool. As the 2,5 thousand metres plot of land was flat, the proposal was to elevate it to 1,5m, in order to achieve the wave effect that provides movement to the landscape. In order to imprint the contemporary character through the design of the roof, the choice was a set of coverings including flat roof tiles, with little inclination and large eaves, combining rectangular structures. The use of visible concrete in the balconies and planters conveyed modernity and contrast to the warmth of the wood and the coastal rocks.
