Minimalist inspiration - which values the essence of the details, maximizes the understanding of the elements and the relationship of its functionality - and technology, allied to architecture, summarize a little of this project, signed by Stemmer Rodrigues.
The residence, located in Eldorado do Sul/RS, has over 430 m² and the biggest challenge was to meet the minimalist request of the clients. For this, the appreciation of details and their relation to functionality were emphasized. The design solutions take advantage of the challenge, designing a large social area at the bottom of the lot, visually connecting the living, dining and kitchen areas with the navigable channels.
The bedrooms were relocated in the front proportion of the plot, elevated in half a pitch to ensure privacy. The social area is established between the west face, filled with a concrete blade that protects from sunlight, the south face, open to the canal and the view, and finally the east face, which invites the sunrise into the house.
Below them, the open garage is organized, with V-shaped structures that support the building's single, horizontal volume. The use of natural elements is in its pure, almost raw form, such as the concrete that surrounds the entire garage and the wood that, in different interpretations, lines the external walls. Furthermore, the great personalisation of the spaces, the personality of the family and the respect for the surroundings create visual dialogues for those who live and those who live together.
The innovation is the recharging stations for the electric cars in the garage, which add technology to the architecture surrounded by natural elements.
