Art Week 2016

The constellation of guest artists may, at first glance, seem technically contrasting. But, led by sensitivity, the visitor gradually perceives the synergy that connects works, authors, and space. Balance and contrasts are always present in art and architecture.

In this large art gallery, the visitor is welcomed by the intense colors of the external areas, where the red iron sculpture by the artist Claudia Stern, created especially for the Bossa appears. It synthesizes the counterpoint language used in the architectural project of straight lines and curves, full and empty, and continues in the garden as an integral part of the building. The color was defined from the shades of the flower of the existing flamboyant, reinforces the idea of transparency and becomes a gift to passersby.

Tomaselli and Locatelli: an Austrian and an Italian who adopted Porto Alegre.

Aldo Locatelli's works, which from a sketch to a large mural always bear the mark of a master, which denotes his ability to interpret the fluidity of delicate watercolor in other painting techniques.

The brutality of the surface of a truck tarpaulin gains mural status through the vibrant colors and unmistakable line of Maria Tomaselli's paintings, which also hold interactive surprises.

In a third moment, a similar peculiarity with Locatelli is perceived in the abstract art of Guilherme Dable, in a 21st century reading. Watercolor, drawing and acrylic coexist in unusual harmony.

The pool space is reminiscent of a dive, the feeling of being enveloped by water, its shades and sounds. In line with the work of Vera Reichert, printed on the lightness of voile, brings the vision of the diver and the joy of the underwater universe.

In the vision of the photographer, a synthesis of the trajectory of the work of Stemmer Rodrigues, which begins in the imaginary, translates into projects and is materialized by the ability of anonymous artists who reveal their faces in the lenses of photographer Nattan Carvalho.

The colorful swings on the patio refer to the playfulness of childhood and home, in the pieces developed by Luciano Mandelli from the design of the Painho chair by Marcelo Rosenbaum.

What do the Guaranis do in this composition of artists? By their hands, nature is reinterpreted, proving that the beauty of simple things is up to great artists.
